I had the same problem with not finding a place to enter my static i.p., what i did was type into the browser my router i.d. Then I logged into my router and clicked on Static NAT, i then entered the static i.p. address there (which is the ip address plus 50)…. after I did this my downloads started working… Thanks for this helpful how to, greatly appreciated

It seems that port forwarding download is only for PC (Windows) versions. I have a Mac and wanted to port forward for Bittorrent client “Transmission”. Do they have version for Mac? (I didnt want to pay for download only to find out I can not use it on my Mac computer.) Please let know ASAP if I will also be able to use it for my Mac.

@ogcuddy i figured it out!!! for everyone who is havin the same problem, you should try putting your router number instead of your ip address into the url bar...worked for me. might work for you to.

@cometa i put my ip adress in safari, internet explorer and firefox....still no page loaded. tried both static and original ip address. any suggestions for my next step???

I have a Belkin N F5D233-4 and when I get to the enter private IP address, it will only let me enter 2 digits. I can’t enter the complete 12 digit private IP, Running a Mac on OX 10.5.8
