Searching for torrents
Now that you’re done setting up (finally!), it’s time to start downloading torrents. There are thousands of torrent web sites where you can search through millions of different .torrent files, here are a few of my favorites:
- ISOHunt – comments, ratings, & direct downloads
- BT Junkie – comments, ratings, & direct downloads
- The Pirate Bay – comments & direct downloads
- Demonoid – great site, members only, registration about once a month; comments & direct downloads
- Audionews.ru – the best for audio applications and samples; members only, but with free registration once a month or so
- Google; try googling the file you want + “torrent” (i.e. “microsoft office torrent”)

thank you! tried so many different how-to’s to get set up for bt, and i ran into a couple snags related to the port forwarding stuff – had to create virtual servers (doesn’t sound like the same thing) but now it’s working! ah! so excited – thanks to you for creating a how-to that is comparatively easy to follow. :-D
